Hello Room 3,

I have added a new piece to our class site - can you spot it? I will be posting video updates to you all during our period of at home learning! Have a look at my first video, those of you with Screencastify can always send me a video update of what you are up to at home too.

Chromebook Launch

We were all very excited for our Middle School Chromebook Launch!
Mrs Fox came to the auditorium for our big launch and we were given our Chromebooks to take back into our classrooms. We cannot wait to show you the work that we create using our devices.
There were lots of very happy faces on launch day.

Soccer

Our School was lucky enough to get to have taster sessions with two coaches recently. We all got to have a skills lesson and a mini soccer game. It was great fun but very exhausting in this hot weather!

Swimming

We have had such a great time learning about our Water Safety Skills.
Did you know that there are lots of different ways to enter water safely? We have been working on our floating both on our backs and on our tummies! We have also been working on rolling onto our tummies and backs both horizontally and vertically. Vertical rotation has been proving to be very tricky for us but we are all determined to get there!

Welcome to Room 3 for 2020. We are a class of Year 3&4 students from Papakura Central School. We have had an amazing time so far this year filled with lots of learning and great experiences!
